Carrera Cup Scandinavia

Flash Engineering took over the organisation of Carrera Cup Scandinavia ahead of the 2005 season. The company is based in Karlstad, Sweden and functions as official dealer for Porsche Motorsport in Scandinavia.

The Carrera Cup-concept is held in 19 countries and is one of the most popular one type-championships in the world. Carrera Cup Scandinavia became the biggest Carrera Cup-championship in the world in 2009.

The championship features eight race weekends with the premiere in april and the finale in october. Only the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 997 is allowed in the championship.

Each race weekend features one practice session, qualifying and two races of 20 minutes each. The championship is a support series to the Swedish Touring Car Championship.
