Mikael Bender claimed the title in both Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Scandinavia and GT Endurance in the finale at Kinnekulle.
“It felt really nice, I can’t be more satisfied than this. It was great to secure both titles,” said Bender.
Bender won the first race of the weekend, a win that was enough for Bender to secure the title with three points over Johan Löfqvist.
“It’s awesome to take my first big Swedish title. The race went really well and to be able to secure the title like this, with a superior win, feels extra nice,” said Bender.
The GT Endurance championship saw Bender taking his fourth victory of the year with double Carrera Cup champion Jocke Mangs.
“We had a fun rain race, we had strong rain settings and Mangs drove really well as usual,” said Bender.
