Reining Carrera Cup Scandinavia champion Jocke Mangs is back behind the wheel of a Porsche. Mangs is going to make a one-off appearance in Carrera Cup Germany.
“During this past weekend a couple of nice things happened which enabled this program for me. I am very happy,” said Mangs.
Mangs is aiming high for the race at Oschersleben in the north of Germany in three weeks.
“I am going to stick my neck out and I believe as always in a good result for the race,” said Mangs.
The German series uses the new Carrera Cup-car that makes its debut in Carrera Cup Scandinavia next year.
“I have never driven the new Porsche model, but I do not think it is going to be a chock. I see it as a really fun challenge,” said Mangs.
Mangs is going to perform a number of test days with the Carrera Cup Scandinavia team Westlife Racing ahead of the race in Germany.
