Second double victory for Fredrik Larsson

Pole position, the lead from start to finish, fastest lap, the second double victory of the year. The success for Fredrik Larsson in his home race at Falkenberg is a fact.
“Really nice! I had a comfortable gap and could take it quite easy. I gained a bit on Rudholm in the championship, something that is very good,” said Larsson.

Championship rival Rudholm remained in second from second on the grid, finishing seven seconds behind Larsson over the finish line.
“I was a bit closer today, I had a better car. But Larsson was still a bit too strong. I’m happy for the points we gathered and that Larsson didn’t gain too much in the championship,” said Rudholm.

Norwegian Roar Lindland had a strong race, passed Oscar Palm in the first corner of the first lap and was then able to maintain third and take his first podium finish of the year.
“It was nice, really nice! The car was great throughout the race and I eased off a bit in the end to save the tyres. Linus got a bit close, but it wasn’t that bad,” said Lindland.

Lindland had to watch out for team mate Linus Ohlsson in the final laps of the race. The 19-year-old gained quickly on Lindland after passing Oscar Palm with a brave maneuver on the outside in the chicane.
“I had a good race and I am pleased with fourth, especially after the problems we had earlier this weekend. I gained on Roar, but unfortunately I was not able to get past. He is very wide, that Norwegian,” said Ohlsson with a laugh.

Martin Öhlin finished fifth after being passed by Ohlsson in the closing stages of the race. Jan West was also involved in the fight for fourth. But at the same time as Palm got a puncture and went for the pits, Öhlin managed to sneak past West, who had to settle for sixth.

Mikael Bender finished seventh after having a hard fight with Prince Carl Philip. The both rubbed panels when Bender went on the inside of Prince Carl Philip in the first corner.

Richard Kressner and Patrik Skoog rounded off top ten.
