Superior victory for Fredrik Larsson

Fredrik Larsson took the first Carrera Cup Scandinavia victory at Falkenberg in style. Robin Rudholm was seven seconds behind in second place.
“It was a great victory, really nice. The race went along as I wanted, but the last laps were tough as I felt the injury then,” said Larsson.
Rudholm had a lonesome race to second with Martin Öhlin another seven seconds behind.
“It was a calm race, Larsson pulled up a gap that he extended. We are going to go through the data from the race and see what we can find for tomorrow,” said Rudholm.
Öhlin secured third position but was unhappy after missing the start.
“I managed to screw up the start completely. But third equals good points for the championship,” said Öhlin.
Roar Lindland started fourth and finished fourth, securing 22 points for the championship.
“It feels great, another step forward. It feels especially good as I am going to start fourth tomorrow as well,” said Lindland.
Oscar Palm emerged victorious from the three car battle for fifth with Linus Ohlsson and Jan West. Initially West held fifth, but Palm managed to get past both Ohlsson and West after a couple of laps. Ohlsson followed Palm past West a couple of laps later on the fast backside of the track.
Mikael Bender secured eight ahead of Cemoni Ohlsson and Patrik Skoog.
Rudholm still leads the championship on 241 points, Larsson is second on 216 and Öhlin third on 183.
